Is MU Battlegrounds free to play?
Yes. Creating an account, downloading the client and playing are completely free. Donations are optional and never give items, Zen or any other in-game advantage. Everything in the game is earned by playing.
What are the server rates?
The experience rate is x10 and the master experience rate is x5. The maximum level is 400 with 200 additional master levels. The beginner's guide lists the full overview.
How do resets work?
Once your character reaches level 400, you can reset it on this website for Zen. It returns to level 1 and receives bonus stat points. A character can reset up to 10 times. All details are in the reset guide.
Why does the portal say I have to disconnect?
Character changes like resets can only be made while your whole account is logged out of the game. Otherwise the game server would overwrite them with its own copy of your character. Close the game, wait a few seconds and try again.
How many accounts can I play at the same time?
Up to two accounts can be connected from the same IP address. Running more, for example with virtual machines or proxies, is not allowed.
How do I get to the third class?
Each class evolves twice through quests given by NPCs in the game. The second class quest is available from around level 150 and the third class quest from around level 380. The class guide lists the evolutions of every class.
When do Blood Castle, Devil Square and Chaos Castle start?
They start several times a day. The exact times are on the event schedule, which is read directly from the server configuration.
Can I level while I'm offline?
Yes. Set up the MU Helper, stand where you want to hunt and type /offlevel. Your character keeps hunting until you log in again. See the commands guide.
I forgot my password. What can I do?
Use the password recovery page. We send a reset link to the email address of your account. The team will never ask you for your password.
The game doesn't start or the launcher can't update.
Make sure your antivirus isn't blocking the game folder, run the launcher again so it can repair missing files, and check that you downloaded the latest client from the download page. If it still doesn't work, ask for help on our Discord.
How do I report a bug or a cheater?
Report it to the team on Discord or through the contact page. Include the character name, the time and, if possible, a screenshot. Using bugs to your advantage instead of reporting them is against the rules.
