Classes
Every class on MU Battlegrounds plays differently, from wizards who clear whole hunting spots with one spell to Dark Lords who lead a party with their pets. Each class can evolve twice through quests, which unlocks new skills, wings and the master level system. The starting stats below come straight from the server's configuration.
Dark Wizard
Role: Ranged magic damage
The Dark Wizard attacks from a distance with powerful spells, and many of them hit whole groups of monsters at once. That makes the class one of the fastest at clearing crowded hunting spots, but it has little defense, so positioning matters.
Evolutions: Dark Wizard → Soul Master → Grand Master
| Strength | Agility | Vitality | Energy | Points per level |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 18 | 18 | 15 | 30 | 5 |
Building your stats: Energy increases spell damage and mana, so most wizards put the majority of their points there. Agility helps with defense and vitality keeps you alive in player-versus-player fights.
Dark Knight
Role: Melee damage and durability
The Dark Knight fights at close range with swords and axes. It has high health and strong defensive options, which makes it a natural front line for parties and a forgiving class for new players.
Evolutions: Dark Knight → Blade Knight → Blade Master
| Strength | Agility | Vitality | Energy | Points per level |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 28 | 20 | 25 | 10 | 5 |
Building your stats: Strength raises damage, agility adds defense and attack speed, and vitality adds a lot of health. Energy improves the damage of the knight's combo and skills.
Fairy Elf
Role: Archer and support
The Fairy Elf shoots arrows from a distance and can buff the defense and damage of the whole party, which makes elves welcome in every group. Elves start in Noria instead of Lorencia.
Evolutions: Fairy Elf → Muse Elf → High Elf
| Strength | Agility | Vitality | Energy | Points per level |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 22 | 25 | 20 | 15 | 5 |
Building your stats: Agility-based elves focus on bow damage. Energy-based elves strengthen their buffs and healing to support a party.
Magic Gladiator
Role: Hybrid fighter and caster
The Magic Gladiator combines the sword skills of a knight with the spells of a wizard. It can only be created once you have another character above the required level, and it has no class quest because it starts in its evolved form.
Evolutions: Magic Gladiator → Duel Master
Unlock: you need another character of at least level 220 on your account to create this class.
| Strength | Agility | Vitality | Energy | Points per level |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 26 | 26 | 26 | 26 | 7 |
Building your stats: Gladiators are built either around strength for sword skills or around energy for spells. Both builds still need some agility for speed.
Dark Lord
Role: Commander with a pet and a horse
The Dark Lord commands a Dark Raven and rides a Dark Horse, and its skills boost the critical damage of the whole party. It is the only class with the command stat, which powers its pets and some of its skills.
Evolutions: Dark Lord → Lord Emperor
Unlock: you need another character of at least level 250 on your account to create this class.
| Strength | Agility | Vitality | Energy | Command | Points per level |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 26 | 20 | 20 | 15 | 25 | 7 |
Building your stats: Strength and command are the main stats. Energy improves the damage of the Dark Lord's skills.
Summoner
Role: Curses and summoned creatures
The Summoner uses books and sticks to cast curses that weaken enemies and to call creatures into battle. Summoners start in Elbeland.
Evolutions: Summoner → Bloody Summoner → Dimension Master
| Strength | Agility | Vitality | Energy | Points per level |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 21 | 21 | 18 | 23 | 5 |
Building your stats: Energy is the main stat for damage and curses, with agility and vitality for survival.
Rage Fighter
Role: Martial arts melee
The Rage Fighter fights with gloves and fast combination attacks, mixing close combat with strong area skills.
Evolutions: Rage Fighter → Fist Master
Unlock: you need another character of at least level 150 on your account to create this class.
| Strength | Agility | Vitality | Energy | Points per level |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 32 | 27 | 25 | 20 | 7 |
Building your stats: Strength and vitality both raise the Rage Fighter's damage, so most fighters split their points between them.
Which class should I pick?
- New to the game: the Dark Knight is the most forgiving, thanks to its health and defense.
- Fast leveling: the Dark Wizard's area spells clear crowded hunting spots quickly.
- Playing in a party: the Fairy Elf's buffs make every group stronger.
- Player versus player: every class can compete, but Dark Lords, Rage Fighters and gladiators are popular choices for duels and Castle Siege.
